As the fiber network grows, there are two simple, but important steps you can take to ensure a smooth installation when crews reach your area:

Step 1: Sign the Underground Agreement
While crews are busy building the fiber backbone, it’s important for you to sign the Underground Agreement! This agreement does not require you to sign up for fiber service. Instead, it simply grants TWN permission to visit your property to prepare your home for service in advance of network availability. Signing is easy! Step 2: Let Us Know About Underground Structures on Your Property
Once you’ve signed the agreement, TWN crews will be alerted about your interest in fiber service. From there, crews will visit your property to mark the fiber path to your home.

Before any digging begins, TWN needs your help. It’s your job to review the proposed fiber route to ensure it doesn’t interfere with any buried structures or utility lines.

Not sure what’s hiding beneath your yard? Call 811!

811 is the national call-before-you-dig phone number. If you have plans to dig, you can call 811 or visit indiana811.org/ to request that someone comes to your home to mark the location of buried utilities with paint or flags.

While 811 is responsible for marking buried public utilities, it’s up to you to let TWN know about any other buried structures that are not public knowledge—such as:

• Wells
• Underground pet fences
• Security systems
• Septic tanks
• Sprinkler systems
• Cellars, or any other buried structures

If you discover that TWN’s fiber route conflicts with any underground structures, call 833-727-5563 immediately so the path can be adjusted.

After fiber path confirmation, the connection process will continue until you are officially connected to the TWN fiber network!
