During the hot summer weather, you want to avoid the heat. Your electronics want to do the same! Smartphones, laptops, and other devices are sensitive to high temps and sunshine just like you. Protect your devices during the summer months by keeping them cool.

How do you do that?
Keep your devices out of the heat. Avoid leaving phones and computers in direct sunlight, beside windows, or locked in your car for too long.

For smartphones, remove the case, turn your screen brightness down, and don’t leave your phone in your pockets. It’s also best not to push your phone to its limits with games, streaming, or other apps that use a lot of data. You may even want to invest in a phone cooler or at best, stick it under a fan.

For laptops, keep them out of your lap. When your computer is on a flat surface air can flow under it better. It’s also best to work in an air-conditioned environment, make sure your laptop’s fans are functioning properly, clean its air vents, and shut down your computer when you aren’t using it.

Beat the heat and keep your electronics cool this summer!
